Grand Slam is our senior herdsire, he was bred by the late Lowell Boone and we are very thankful to Drays Miniature Horses of Wisconsin, for allowing us to purchase this son of one of our favorite stallions - Ima Boones Little Buckeroo Too a/k/a BTU!
Grand Slam has a pedigree of "Who's who" in the miniature world. His sire is the famous BTU, an AMHA World Grand Champion & AMHA World Grand Champion Get Of Sire! Grand Slam's dam, Boones Little Buckeroos Pretty Woman, is an outstanding producing daughter of Boones Little Buckeroo! She is a multiple World & National champion producer! Grand Slam is a full brother to both BTU Sheza Dandy (4X National Champion) and Little Kings BT Fancy Me (One of the fillies who won BTU's World Champion Get Of Sire award). The cross that produced Grand Slam was repeated eight times - no doubt both the Boones and Little King Farm saw something special in the cross, and it has produced several World champions and World champion producers. Grand Slam is Triple bred Boones Little Buckeroo!
Grand Slam is a proven sire of six foals to date, with two more on the way for 2010. He has sired five fillies and one colt, all stamped with the "BTU look" and show quality conformation. He has produced all duns and buckskins with the exception of one bay, to date. Grand Slam has been tested E/e, A/A and LWO negative.
He is pictured as a 5yo senior stallion straight out of the pasture with no conditing or sweating.
Grand Slam is standing to a limited number of approved, quality mares for the 2010 season.
Introductory stud fee: $600.00 LFG
Discounts for multiple mares, proven show mares and/or show producing mares
Mare care: $2.50 per day dry / $3.00 per day wet.
