High Meadow Miniatures

Delight was bred by the Slavins of Berthoud, Colorado. We also aquired Delight from Elk Run Miniatures, along with her daughter, Oreo. Thank you Sarah for allowing us to purchase Delight!

Delight is a grandaughter of Ashbys Kid Dy-No-Mite, the National champion producing son of Bond Sir Galahad, a foundation sire of championship foals.

Delight has been lab tested homozygous black, hetrozygous agouti and LWO negative. She appears black, with a wide blaze, blue eye and a flashy pattern. Delight carries tobaino, splash overo and sabino. She has foaled three foals to date, all leggy, show quality pintos. Her first foal, Lakota Stars, is our homozygous black tovero mare. Her second foal, HMM Apache Stars, is a black tobiano colt owned by Angel Ridge Ranch. Delight's third foal, is HMM Painted Pizzaz, a loud buckskin tovero colt with blue eyes - currently for sale! Delight will be bred to our BTU son, Grand Slam, for a 2011 foal.

Delight is currently offered for sale, due to us cutting back on our amount of AMHR only mares. She is a wonderful mare with a great personality, easy breeder/foaler and great to work with.
